The Lafayette Rod & Gun Club is located outside of Higginsville, MO just 5 miles north of Interstate 70.  Higginsville is 35 miles east of the Kansas City Metro area. For directions to our range, please check our detailed information map. 

While LGC hosts many shooting events each year it also offers a limited number of conditional memberships.  Sporting Clays, USPSA, IHMSA, Cowboy Action - Rocky Branch Rangers and Black Powder competitions are a part of our annual calendar.  The Competition link on this page will provide detailed descriptions of each of these events.  A copy of our 2010 yearly match schedule is available on our Schedule link.

Jack Duvall decided to step down as Secretary as of March 31^st, 2010. The officers, charter members and all of LGC owe a debt of gratitude to Jack for years of service to our club. If you didn’t know it, the formation of this club was his idea; he was singularly responsible for obtaining the original land lease; and he was the club’s first member. Jack has held every office (most, more than once) and he has been involved in everything that our current members see and use today. We are all indebted to you Jack, and we all thank you!
